Rodent Control
Rodent Control Services
Rodents such as rats and mice will contaminate your food with their urine and feces. The can carry diseases such as Plague, Rat-bite Fever, Hantavirus Pulmonary Syndrome, Hemorrhagic Fever, Leptospirosis, Lymphocytic choriomeningitis, and Salmonellosis. More than 50,000 building fires per year are caused by rats chewing through wires.
Mice, Rats & Rodent Traps
If rodents have made their way into your home, or if the infestation is large enough, we’ll use rodent control solutions such as traps. Using bait to kill rodents inside can lead to odors from dead rats or mice rotting in places that may be hard to reach. Traps can also serve as in indicator of whether rodents are still active in your home or commercial building.
Mice, Rats & Rodent Bait Stations
When the evidence of rodent activity is limited to the outside of your home, bait stations can be a great tool to reduce rodent populations on your property. Once the bait stations are anchored down around your home, we’ll monitor their activity on a regular basis and make sure there is a fresh supply of bait available for the rodents to consume.
Mice, Rats & Rodent Exclusion
One of the best ways to prevent rats, mice, and other rodents and wildlife from getting into your home is by locating any potential entry points and blocking those entry points. Rodents are able to squeeze through remarkably small holes, cracks, and gaps. They are also great jumpers, climbers, and chewers. If a hole is too small, they can often gnaw on the opening to make it large enough to squeeze through. By using the proper materials during our rodent control exclusion, we can block those openings and exclude rodents from gaining access to the inside of your home.
McCauley Ag & Pest can provide a rodent control inspection on the common points of entry such as pet doors, holes in the walls, missing vent screens, openings around pipes, dryer and duct vents to name a few. Upon completion of the inspection, we’ll offer you an extermination estimate to eliminate the rodent infestation along with an exclusion estimate to help you avoid future infestations.
Rats and Mice Control
Rodents such as rats and mice will contaminate your food with their urine and feces. The can carry diseases such as Plague, Rat-bite Fever, Hantavirus Pulmonary Syndrome, Hemorrhagic Fever, Leptospirosis, Lymphocytic choriomeningitis, and Salmonellosis. More than 50,000 building fires per year are caused by rats chewing through wires. Rodent control measures are neccessary to remove any existing infestations and prevent rodents from entering in the future.
Squirrel Pest Control
Ground squirrels cause destruction by undermining fences, walkways and structures. Ground squirrels are most active from spring through fall and go dormant for a short time over the winter months. Using rodent control measures and bait stations which are monitored monthly, gaining control of ground squirrels is an ongoing procedure during the active season.
Gopher Pest Control
Gophers can be a real threat to the landscape of residential and commercial properties. Gophers work underground, consuming the root systems of plants and lawns which can require costly replacement. Although there is no preventative rodent control to exclude gophers from your property, quick response to new activity is a must. By injecting baits to the underground network of tunnels, we can get control of Gophers before further damage is done to your plant life. Call McCauley Ag & Pest today for a no charge inspection.
